Why "freedom"?
As someone who spent years working to undo and overcome unhealthy relationships with food and body image, and a chronic illness warrior and overcomer, I have a passion to come along side women with trauma histories to redefine fitness, come back to their bodies, create healthier relationships with food, and work towards wholeness inside and out. Freedom. Fitness is not about just looking physically fit, but includes an all encompassing healthy way of life - physical, mental, spiritual. Fitness for me is daily therapy. It goes beyond short term challenges, New Year's resolutions and bikini season! It’s an integral part of my life that has truly transformed me from the outside in.
What fuels me?
Well, YOU DO! I prepare & practice so that I can perform my best in everything I do. Growing up, leadership was just in my DNA. I worked hard to be Captain of each of my teams because I wanted to be the positive influence, out front leading the charge. Letting my team down was never an option. And now, I see YOU as my teammate. As we journey together, you can be confident that you are not alone. As you win, I win. When you fall, I'm there to help pick you up. I want to see you step into your freedom and be the best version of yourself possible. My mission is to help that little voice in your head telling you, “I can’t” or “I’m not enough” become a thing of the past. To help you get to a place where you whisper to yourself when you are about to give up, “I can do this!” To help you notice emotions and feelings that arise during a session, sit with them and then move through them in a safe and regulated environment. I can't wait to watch you overcome every obstacle and fear you set out to claim victory over become reality. More freedom.
What do I have to offer you?
As a former D1 collegiate athlete, a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) through NASM and a Pain Free Performance Specialist, I specialize in performance and strength training, pain free corrective care, and I offer extensive knowledge in supplement intake and nutrition. With a background in Leadership and a trauma-informed practitioner who has triumphed over trauma personally, I am positioned to help you overcome any obstacle holding you back from being your healthiest, most whole self. I am here to help you if you're struggling to overcome barriers that have gotten in the way of you pursuing a healthy way of life, and develop the habits necessary to change your life. I believe what is built on this fitness journey, follows you throughout every facet of your life. I would love to be your ally on this journey. Together we’ll work towards whole health transformation, leading to more freedom in all areas of your life!
